Pre-production looks to be underway on Luca Guadagnino’s next movie, After the Hunt. The film stars Andrew Garfield, among others, which is noteworthy for Spider-Man fans. Not only did Garfield headline The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 and reprise his role for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but Gaudagnino’s last big movie, Challengers, starred Zendaya, who’s perhaps best known for playing MJ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movies.

News of After the Hunt gearing up for production comes by way of a photo shared by several of the cast members after what looks like a table read. Among those in the photo are Garfield, Guadagnino, Julia Roberts, Chloë Sevigny, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg, Lio Mehiel, Ariyan Kassam, and Will Price.

After the Hunt centers on a college professor whose student levies an intense accusation at one of her coworkers, which threatens to expose a secret of her own. The film hails from Imagine Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios and has yet to receive a release date, but it’s expected in 2025.
