Prince William and Harry’s relationship can be fixed by just one thing ‘everyone is hoping’ for

Prince Harry and Prince William are said to be open to the possibility of reconciling, but a source has claimed that there are certain conditions that would need to be met

“Everyone is hoping” for an intervention by one or two of Prince Harry and Prince William’s wider family – as it is the one thing that could repair their shattered relationship, it is claimed.

While sources claimed the warring princes sat stone-faced at their uncle Sir Robert Fellowes’ recent memorial service in Sandringham and didn’t cast a glance each other’s way, insiders have hinted there might be light at the end of the tunnel for those rooting for Royal reconciliation.

“Harry is open to reconciling with his brother,” said a source to the Express. “He knows it won’t be an easy task but it is something that can be brought to the table.” They added: “William is not opposed to a reconciliation with his brother at some point, but things would need to start from scratch, a fresh start type scenario, where things from the past are not to be mentioned.”

The princes united last Thursday at St Mary’s Church in Snettisham for their late uncle’s remembrance, close to the Royal Family’s Norfolk estate. They were both present but appeared not to interact during the service, as per an insider, and it appears there is only one thing that can repair their shattered relationship – close relatives of their late mum, Princess Diana, in the Spencer family.

“Everyone is hoping that there might be some kind of intervention from Jane or Charles [Spencer] which will hopefully bring them back together,” the insider revealed. “It will take some time but it is looking like a possibility.”

This past weekend, it was revealed that Prince Harry chose the childhood home of his late mother Princess Diana to reside at during his recent trip back to Britain. The Duke of Sussex was hosted by his uncle, Charles, Earl Spencer, bunking down in the historic Althorp House in Northampton.

The Royal brothers rift reportedly became apparent around Christmas 2018. It’s said that tensions began with Prince Harry believing that his brother William wasn’t properly welcoming Meghan into the Royal fold.

Matters intensified in 2020 as Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their Royal duties, opting for a new life across the pond in the USA.

A tide of tell-alls ensued, starting with the pair’s sanction of the “Finding Freedom” biography, their bombshell revelations to Oprah Winfrey on TV, and then the scoop-stream in their Netflix documentary ‘Harry & Meghan’. Prince Harry did not hold back in his memoir ‘Spare’, where he laid bare personal conflicts, including an instance where he claimed Prince William knocked him down during a heated argument.

He shed light on a row involving Meghan and Kate Middleton over bridesmaid dresses, which allegedly led to tears on both sides.

The Sussexes have since largely remained stateside, sparingly returning to UK soil. Prince Harry made the crossing to meet his father, now King Charles, this February before appearing at the Invictus Games in May.

However, he couldn’t catch up with any relatives on his latest visit because of a “diary clash”. Meghan hasn’t set foot in the UK since she was here for the late Queen’s funeral last year.

Both Kensington Palace and spokespeople for the Sussexes have been approached for a response.
