In fact, it’s pretty darn hard to find anything that doesn’t look fresh in Caddy’s roster – even the CT4 and XT6 don’t look dated. However, the same conclusion is not valid for the XT5, which has been in production since January 2016 and only got a mild revision for the 2020 model year.

The eight-year-old crossover SUV looks from a different era, and it was about time Caddy did something about that. Meanwhile, in America, the XT5 faces stiff competition from the Lyriq all-electric CUV, and the EV might completely replace it in the near future.
