HARRY Potter fans have spotted a glaring mistake in one of the films – 22 years after its release.
The beloved wizard franchise, based off the smash-hit books created by JK Rowling, is still enjoyed to this day.
However, despite a huge production budget for the films, fans have noticed a huge blunder in the Chamber of Secrets.
The movie, which is the second in the series, follows Harry Potter’s second year at Hogwarts.
During the film Harry and his enemy Draco Malfoy have it out in a duelling club as their fellow students watch on.
While the pair – played by Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton – were originally meant to just disarm each other, their exchange turned more persona
Draco fired the first shot, which knocked Harry to the floor, before he picked himself up and delivered his own spell in return.
The Boy Who Lived sent Draco flying across the room – at which point the epic blunder occurred.
When the movie is paused, a member of production is clearly visible in the shot amongst other actors.
Thankfully it hasn’t appeared to ruin the magic for Harry Potter fans as they jokingly mocked the mishap.
Taking to a web forum, one said: “That’s one of Rita Skeeter’s assistants.”
A second wrote: “I wonder if he knows he’s in the movie lol.”
“I never even noticed until now, how did they not notice,” said a third.
