Geordie Shore icon Vicky Pattison is preparing to tie the knot with fiancé Ercan Ramadan – who she got engaged to in 2022.
Geordie Shore icon Vicky Pattison has been busy preparing for the ‘wedding of her dreams’ to fiancé Ercan Ramadan all while juggling her back-to-back work projects.
The 36-year-old reality star and her fiancé Ercan have been together since 2019, with the Essex-born Turkish/Cypriot getting down on one knee to propose to her in 2022 during a sunny holiday in Dubai. He was previously a labourer and builder before he joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2016.
Vicky has been open about the difficult process of planning for a wedding. She recently told fans on social media how she was feeling “drained” and said she “burnt the candle at both ends, worked a punishing schedule and ignored all signs that my body was desperate for a break.” Vicky added that she had suspected glandular fever as well as an infection and an abscess in her throat.
She even had a few setbacks with the stressful wedding planning “spiralling out of control”, but she is over the moon to be tying the knot with Ercan in picturesque Puglia, Italy, in September – with over 100 family and friends flying over to witness the special moment. It’s all worth it for the ‘wedding of her dreams’, but she still dreads thinking about the money leaving her account.

The star has been busy juggling wedding planning with her many work projects, including her brand new E4 show Second-Hand Showdown and another upcoming two-part special, Destination Wedding. Speaking to The Mirror about the reality of juggling work and wedding planning, she said: “Everybody’s in the same boat. Weddings are big business. They’re so expensive. And I think, like, in particular people since covid, you know, like, I think we feel robbed of a couple of years of life, and I quite rightly so, you know, like we did have to stop with the big events and the spending time with your friends and family, and that’s left a lasting mark.
“So I think as a nation, probably even on an international scale, people have this desire to make up the lost time, to spend time with friends and family, to do it big. So, yeah, I think the wedding business has absolutely capitalized on that. No, no doubt about it. So they’re f**king expensive. There’s no other word for it. So, yeah, I’ve had to work. Everybody has to work. I’m extremely lucky. Like, I like my job. I’m hardly down the mines, am I?
