Davis Park Elementary students enjoyed a delightful surprise when their school janitor, Richard Goodall, took to the stage to perform “Don’t Stop Believin’” during an assembly.

Richard’s performance, fueled by his extraordinary voice, quickly went viral and even earned praise from Journey’s lead singer! Meet Richard Goodall, a 53-year-old who has dedicated over twenty years to the Vigo County School Corporation in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Before his janitorial career, Richard was a teenager passionately singing along to Journey in his bedroom, igniting his love for music. To the students at Davis Park Elementary, Richard is not just the janitor who keeps their school spotless but also a cherished performer who considers them “his students.”
