GM Authority has uncovered pricing for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, which is significantly higher than all

General Motors unveiled the fully electric, all-new 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ in August 2023. It sports a unique, streamlined exterior, powerful electric motors developing up to 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque, 460 miles of range on a single charge, and an exhaustive list of luxury features, plus cutting-edge safety and convenience tech.

Now, GM Authority has uncovered pricing for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, which is significantly higher than all except the range-topping trim level of its ICE sport-utility counterpart.

According to the latest information, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ starts at $129,990, ranging up to $150,490 base MSRP for the Sport 2 trim level. Since this is the first year the IQ is offered its prices cannot be compared to previous model years.

Notably, all four available trim levels of the Cadillac Escalade IQ are too expensive to qualify for a full $7,500 or partial $3,750 Clean Vehicle Credit. IQ buyers cannot benefit from the federal EV tax incentives introduced by the Inflation Reduction Act. Actual prices for the electric SUV are in line with Cadillac estimates.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ features a longer wheelbase than the ICE model, along with a lower, sportier stance. Boasting new, sleek styling, the vehicle rides on 24-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires. The driver has access to four-wheel steering, a fully independent suspension, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, and Adaptive Air Ride, plus a potential maximum towing capacity of 8,000 pounds.

A curved 55-inch LED display stretches pillar to pillar inside the cabin, providing a dominating focal point for the cockpit. The SUV is equipped with an AKG audio system feeding sound to 19 speakers, with the option to raise the number to 40 speakers with an available package. The extensive list of tech goodies is headlined by the inclusion of the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system as standard.

Two Ultium Drive electric motors motivate the Cadillac Escalade IQ, giving it AWD and developing 650 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque while in Normal mode. Switching to the driver-selectable Velocity Max mode boosts maximum output to 750 horsepower and up to 785 pound-feet of torque.

The electric SUV offers a hefty 460 miles of range on a single charge, up from the previous estimate of 450 miles. Power is stored and doled out to the motors by a 200+ kWh Ultium 24-module battery pack and is capable of using the available Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) function to power external devices. The battery alone is worth $22,450, or somewhere around a sixth to a seventh of the vehicle’s total price.
