Mooresville, North Carolina deputies were called to the home of Greg Biffle on Thursday, January 8, after reports it had been broken into overnight.

Sheriff Darren Campbell said the crook got away with roughly $30,000 in cash, NASCAR memorabilia, and two Glock handguns.

“Surveillance footage shows a suspect arriving around 11 pm on January 7 and spending an extended amount of time inside the home,” Campbell stated.

Investigators believe the house had been secure until the afternoon of January 7.

The property was found to have been forcibly entered, according to an incident report.

Deputies learned the cash was taken from a damaged safe, the report said.

A backpack was also listed among the missing items, along with guns and memorabilia.

Detectives and crime scene investigators are now actively working the case and chasing down leads from the video.

The sheriff’s office said anyone who recognizes the suspect should contact the Criminal Investigations Division.

The cruel burglary came after Biffle, his wife, Cristina and their two children, Emma and Ryder, died in a plane crash on December 18.

Three other passengers were also killed when the group’s Cessna C550 went down, leaving all seven people on board dead.

Aviation officials say the jet was only in the air for about 10 minutes before circling back and trying to land.

The aircraft erupted into flames as it touched down, according to reports.

The National Transportation Safety Board is still working to determine what caused the deadly crash.

Devastating 911 calls have described witnesses watching the plane explode into a massive fireball, wiping out any hopes of survival.

Now, investigators are trying to identify the person seen on camera inside the late NASCAR star’s home and bring the suspect in.
