The first teaser trailer for Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha All Along is finally here, and it is getting a ton of praise from fans. When it was first announced that Agatha would be getting her own spin-off show after Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision, no one really seemed to be much excited about the idea. But it’s safe to say that fans now stand corrected.

The teaser trailer captures the viewer’s attention from start to finish as there are many things going on in a short amount of time. What captured our attention the most, though, is the mention of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff. Thanks to this little detail in the trailer, fans have been begging for the return of one of the best MCU characters ever.

Fans Are Dying to See Elizabeth Olsen Return in Agatha All Along

Either the team of Agatha All Along is just really good at creating trailers, or the upcoming series is actually on track to be right up there amongst the 2 best Marvel shows – Loki and WandaVision. The best part about the teaser is that it manages to excite the audience without giving away the plot too much, keeping fans invested enough to make them want to watch the show.

In comparison to WandaVision, Agatha All Along takes a more sinister approach to things with elements of horror scattered throughout the teaser. It sees Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha reeling from the last episode of WandaVision where Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda left her trapped in her fake ‘Agnes’ persona.

The trailer begins as a Mare of Easttown-type murder mystery with Hahn’s character investigating the murder of a woman who was shown to have blackened fingertips, which happened to both Wanda and Agatha, when they started using the Darkhold.

When Agatha goes to the morgue to take a look at the dead body, she picks up a library card, and the name “W. Maximoff” magically appears next to “Oct 13.” Since then, fans have been worried that this little tidbit actually confirms the death of MCU’s finest character. However, they are still holding on to the hope that Olsen will reprise her role in the series against all odds.

Is Wanda Maximoff Actually Dead?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness showed Wanda bringing down Mount Wundagore in an attempt to stop her magic. As the mountain crushed Wanda underneath itself, fans were left heartbroken to realize what this meant for Olsen’s character. Even the MCU book, Marvel Studios’ The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline, confirmed the Scarlet Witch’s demise.

However, in an interview with Variety, Kevin Feige hinted that there may be a possibility that Wanda will return to the MCU. But what about her getting crushed by Wundagore? Well, did you see Wanda’s dead body?

Feige told the publication,

I don’t know that we saw her under rubble? I saw a tower coming down and a little red flash. I don’t know what that means.

He went on to add,

I’d work with Lizzie for another 100 years if we could. Anything’s possible in the multiverse! We’ll have to see.

As for Olsen, she too doesn’t believe that Wanda could be completely dead as she said, “I don’t think any of these characters are ever really gone,” before adding that she would love to see her character get a redemption arc.
