Hip-hop star Riky Rick passed away on Wednesday 23 February. Sunday World reported that the rapper reportedly took his own life after suffering from depression. Hip-hop DJ Speedsta, posted a video slamming young entertainers Uncle Vinny and Uncle Waffles following the rapper’s death.

In the video, a distressed DJ Speedsta says: “Look what you guys did to him”.

DJ SPEEDSTA AIMS AT UNCLE VINNY AND UNCLE WAFFLES 

Riky Rick was one entertainer who poured into other entertainers’ cups. He introduced the world to Uncle Vinny when he was still a young boy. Over the years, the two grew a close relationship. Riky Rick also had a bond with Uncle Waffles.

On Thursday 24 February, a Twitter user posted a video of DJ Speedsta calling Uncle Vinny and 21-year-old internet sensation Uncle Waffles “pieces of sh*t”.

“All of you guys are pieces of sh*t, this is real stuff dude.”

“This man looked happy. He looked happy! But look at what you guys did to him.”

“F*ck you guys.”

TWEEPS WEIGH IN

After the video hit Twitter, tweeps were quite concerned about Speedsta’s remarks towards the young entertainers. Many questioned why the hip-hop DJ would say hurtful things about Uncle Vinny and Uncle Waffles following Riky Rick’s death.

“They are just kids and he’s traumatising them… Speedsta needs to grow tf up,” wrote one tweep.

Another tweep wrote: “Heish guys maybe Speedsta needs our help, let’s not bash but uplift him. We praying for you dawg.”

“Speedsta’s behaviour is disgusting. I don’t care whether ‘he knows something we don’t’, his behavior is disgusting.”

SPEEDSTA AND RIKY RICK’S RELATIONSHIP 

Riky Rick collaborated on DJ Speedsta’s hit track Hangout in 2014. The track also featured Psyfo and Kid X.

Speedsta posted a clip of Riky Rick’s part in the music video writing: “Go well, my friend.”

In another post, he wrote: “Love you dawg”.
