Micah Plath’s girlfriend, Veronica Peters, recently debuted on Welcome To Plathville; however, she is already attracting criticism from some fans. In Welcome To Plathville season 6, Micah’s romance with his girlfriend Veronica became a huge topic after he revealed he had left the Plath family home and moved to Florida to live with his girlfriend. Micah’s decision to leave home and move in with Veronica closely mirrored his brother, Ethan Plath, who left the house with his then-newly married wife, Olivia, and for a while, many thought Micah’s romance with Veronica was fabricated since she didn’t appear on the show.
However, Veronica finally appeared unexpectedly in Welcome To Plathville season 6, episode 6. While Micah was talking about Veronica in an interview, she surprisingly spoke up from another room before appearing on-screen to sit beside Micah as they spoke to the camera. Fans have long awaited Veronica’s debut since Micah revealed they’ve been dating for over a year. Veronica also explained she had always avoided being the center of attention and liked being in the background watching and listening. However, still very early into her debut, Veronica has had to start dealing with trolls.

Veronica’s decision to stay in the background while others took the spotlight was one of her protective devices to keep her relationship with Micah as private as possible to avoid prying eyes and certain fans who might have something negative to say about their romance. However, despite her efforts, Veronica’s romance with Micah is already attracting trolls, especially on their joint Instagram account @veronica.plath. In one of their recent posts, a not-so-nice fan commented, “Micah, blink if you need help,” which seems to suggest Micah was being held against his wish by Veronica.
Surprisingly, Veronica seemed ready for this type of remark, cleverly clapping back with the comment, “Blink if you think you are funny” (via TVShowsAce). Despite how little Micah and Veronica had said about their romance, the duo looked evidently in love during their first joint interview. Also, their joint Instagram page is filled with several pictures of the two looking happy together, giving no suggestion that either Micah or Veronica is unhappy.

With all the perks of being on TV, reality stars often have to deal with trolls, especially on social media, and Veronica would have learned to expect unwarranted comments after having been with Micah for over a year. Veronica’s decision to finally make her Welcome To Plathville debut was borne out of the need to participate in some of the family’s special occasions, which she had previously missed out on. However, Veronica might now be open to more critical comments from fans, which may harm her relationship with Micah.

Although Veronica hasn’t had to deal with anything close to the scale of criticism Olivia faced, her continuous showing in Welcome To Plathville will no doubt attract critics, but hopefully, Veronica will be able to handle whatever is thrown at her.
