WandaVision star Kathryn Hahn has opened up about the possibility of Agatha Harkness returning to the MCU, playing coy when addressing a potential reunion with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch.

When WandaVision launched on Disney Plus earlier this year, Kathryn’s character went from being nosy neighbour Agnes to powerful with Agatha, who had secretly been pulling the strings behind Wanda Maximoff’s back within her fictional reality.

Kathryn and Elizabeth astounded fans with their impressive performances, so much so that they and Vision actor Paul Bettany are all nominated for accolades at this year’s Emmy Awards.

While attending the Television Academy’s Reception in honour of the 73rd Emmy Award nominees ahead of Sunday’s ceremony, Kathryn was asked about Agatha’s future following the grand finale of WandaVision.

Speaking to Variety, the actor expressed her hope that Agatha will return, without giving away answers that were too detailed.

When asked if Wanda could make her comeback in an MCU movie or TV series, Kathryn replied: ‘Oh my god, I hope anywhere. I love her madly.’

As for which superhero she would want Agatha to hang out with, Kathryn admitted she has a ‘soft spot’ for her WandaVision co-star Elizabeth.

‘I mean, I’ve still got a real soft spot for Lizzie Olsen, but, I don’t know if she’ll have me anymore,’ the actor joked.

Kathryn’s interviewer suggested Agatha and Wanda star in their own take of the 1991 classic Thelma and Louise, which starred Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis.

However, Kathryn had to remind him that Thelma and Louise didn’t have the happiest of endings.

‘I like it. I like it. A rough ending, but that would be… we’d have to lift it up,’ she responded.

While we have a little longer to wait to find out if Kathryn, Elizabeth and Paul will win at this year’s Emmys, WandaVision already bagged some awards Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
