After Sir Trill’s interview on the rapper’s podcast, claiming he had not received any money for the collaborations he did and hinting that DJ Maphorisa was involved in the matter, the Asibe Happy hitmaker took to his timeline to share screenshots of payments he made in an attempt to clear his name — and insulted L-Tido.
“Maybe he’s talking about other Grootmans. This young man needs help. I remember him not going to the music video [of] De Mthuda’s John Wick. I knew we were going to have a problem. Self-sabotage and karma from all the promoters you f**ked [by] not pitching [at] those gigs and f**k L-Tido Nyamao san,” he wrote on X.
Responding to his post, L-Tido clapped back, writing: “Phori, you a f*cken coward marete a gao. I literally didn’t say sh*t about you. Deal with the people you robbing, not me.”
DJ Prince Kaybee came to L-Tido’s defence, adding: “Le wena Nyamao. Stop being a bully to people who did nothing to you.”
