Good Smile Company Gives Fans Their First Look at Its New Berserk Figure
Based on the character’s traditional design as the Black Swordsman, the new Berserk Guts figure from Good Smile Company and Pop Up Parade is both impressive and imposing. Featuring a plastic cape and a bandolier of weapons, the manga and anime antihero is perfectly portrayed. With a slight scowl and closed eye, he’s an exact representation of the drawn version, just in printed plastic form. As part of the companies’ “L” line of collectibles, it stands at 8.66 inches in height, making it the perfect way to turn a shelf or desk into an intimidating battlefield.
The figure is set to retail at US$57.99 and above, depending on the specific storefront. Pre-orders are now open until the end of August. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little while until they can get their hands on it, with the statue-esque figure not being shipped out until Q2 2025. Although it lacks articulation, this version of the legendary Guts is certainly worthy of any Berserk fan’s collection, where it can potentially join similar figures, including an action figure of Guts in his “beast” armor.

Berserk’s Global Popularity Has Resulted in Plenty of Enviable Releases
Created as a manga by Kentaro Miura, Berserk has slashed its way to the top of the list in terms of dark, harrowing fantasy anime. Known for its gritty art style and sometimes heinous action, it’s a favorite among fans looking for something a bit more brutal. This tone and the quality of the story as a whole has made it a bestseller, with the series still going strong after Miura’s death in 2021. There have also been multiple anime adaptations, with the latest of these being the fan-made Berserk: The Black Swordsman. This is based on the story arc of the same name (and from which the new Pop Up Parade figure is also derived).
