Deavan Clegg rose to fame five years ago as a 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member. The TLC star left the USA to embark on a romance in person with her ex, Jihoon Lee. The two found out they were expecting a child together pretty early on in their relationship. The partners became a family of four as Deavan also had a daughter from a previous relationship, Driscilla.
After the 90 Day Fiancé stars’ relationship didn’t work out, they went through a divorce, and their son, Taeyang, remained with his mom full time. When Taeyang was just three years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia. For the past two years and three months, Deavan explains how her “inspiring” son has been fighting a “grueling battle.”

Deavan shares Taeyang updates
Taeyang was just three at the time. Deavan shared photos of him in the hospital and proceeded to keep her fans up to date with his cancer journey.
She took to YouTube to give updates, explaining how “2022 came with a lot of changes” and “T is still currently making regular hospital visits for chemo and staying strong.”

Taking to her channel last year, the TLC star told fans she hadn’t posted in a year because of everything that the family had been dealing with.
In October 2022, she and her boyfriend, Topher Park, also welcomed a son together.
TLC star has some great news
Taking to Instagram this August, she shares an adorable video of Taeyang ringing a bell and writes: “After a grueling two years and three months, we are thrilled to announce that Taeyang is now cancer-free!”
Her caption continues: “The journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and I have gained a wealth of knowledge and gratitude throughout it all. Taeyang’s resilience and bravery have been truly inspiring, making him the strongest person I know.”
Deavan shared words of thanks for people who have supported the family during this time: “We are forever thankful for your incredible support.”
