Michael Ilesanmi hires a lawyer to beat Angela Deem in court after a successful GoFundMe campaign.
Lawyer Andrea M. Johnson specializes in family law and immigration, aiding Michael’s case.
Michael and Angela’s legal battle will soon heat up now that he has a lawyer to help him beat her accusations.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Michael Ilesanmi has no reason to feel helpless anymore since he finally hired a lawyer who’ll help him beat Angela Deem in court. Michael made a big mistake by running away from Angela’s house in February 2024, just days after filming the Happily Ever After season 8 Tell All. However, it was predicted long ago, and even Angela was aware of that. It’s just that Angela didn’t expect Michael to leave her within two months of his U.S. arrival. She’s jealous of Michael having a new family and has filed for an annulment.
A week after Michael Ilesanmi launched his successful GoFundMe, the Nigerian man confirmed that he’s used the donated money to hire an attorney.
Starcasm revealed that Michael’s lawyer filed an entry of appearance in Jeff Davis Superior Court on August 20, 2024, a week after he started his online fundraiser. Michael hired Andrea M. Johnson of Vayman & Teitelbaum from Georgia. Andrea has been practicing as a licensed attorney in Georgia for more than 20 years. Michael’s lawyer is an expert at dealing with cases relating to family law, but more importantly, she also has a lot of experience with immigration. With Angela wanting Michael deported after the annulment, Michael knows what he’s doing by hiring Andrea.
Will Michael Ilesanmi Succeed In Legal Fight Against Angela Deem?
Will Michael Be Sent Back To Nigeria For Being A Scammer?
Angela filed for an annulment in June 2024. She took Michael to court claiming that he fraudulently induced her into marrying him so he could become a legal permanent resident of America. Angela also claimed that Michael was part of a conspiracy where he had teamed up with more Nigerian men like him to trick gullible American citizens into marrying them. Angela could be referring to Michael’s friends in Texas where he is living now. Angela and Michael got married in January 2020, but she wants to make sure they were never married since Michael’s a fraud, according to her.
Angela said that Michael abandoned her. She claimed she doesn’t know where he is living now and has not contacted her since he left her Hazlehurst house. Angela also wants Michael to pay her attorney’s fees and court costs. Michael was served by Angela’s attorney by posting an ad in a local newspaper. Michael now has to prove that their marriage was legal and that he married her with good intentions. Michael will probably talk about the abuse that he had to deal with both on and off camera, and has to save himself from being deported.
If Angela wins, her main mission is to send Michael back to Nigeria. She knows what she is doing, and it’s likely she had planned on getting her marriage with Michael annulled for a long time. Angela wants to make sure that Michael doesn’t keep staying on her visa in the U.S. with her being his main sponsor. Michael continues to rub his happiness in her face, which is further irritating his estranged wife. She’s been diligently following all his social media updates and continuing to gather “proof” that Michael scammed her to make her case stronger.
