Zim Govt have strange movements to Madam Boss when she appears at BET awards

 The Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry has commended influencer Madam Boss (Tyra Chikocho-Munetsiwa), for her commitment to cultural representation at the recent BET Awards in Los Angeles, USA.

A grand “Welcome Back Bash” has been organised for her as she lands at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport on Thursday afternoon.

The Ministry has praised her for representing Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage.

“Madam Boss’s promotion of the Zimbabwean National Fabric at the BET Awards represents a significant commitment to cultural representation and has several impacts,” said the Ministry in a statement.

By showcasing Zimbabwean National Fabric at the prominent international event, the Ministry said Madam Boss highlighted the beauty and significance of Zimbabwean culture to a global audience.

“This promotes cultural diversity and breaks stereotypes, fostering a more inclusive global community,” the Ministry added.

Through her efforts, Madam Boss educated viewers about Zimbabwean tourism, traditions, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.

“This not only raises awareness but also encourages appreciation and respect for diverse cultures,” the Ministry said.

Madam Boss’s initiative is expected to boost tourism to Zimbabwe.

“By capturing the interest of international viewers at the BET Awards, she promoted Zimbabwe as a destination rich in cultural experiences and traditions. This can attract tourists who are eager to explore and engage with Zimbabwean culture firsthand,” the Ministry stated.

Madam Boss was seen mingling and interviewing some of the biggest stars in US showbiz, including Will Smith, Usher Raymond, Joe Thomas, and Ray J. She also took photos with rapper TI and singer-cum-actress Chloe Bailey.

“Dreams do come true,” Madam Boss captioned one video in which she and Smith blew kisses at the camera and gave a shout out to Zimbabweans watching.

“The day I will never forget,” she captioned another series of pictures in which she appeared with a raft of stars, including South Africa’s Tyla.

The Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry thanked Madam Boss for promoting Brand Zimbabwe and for being a proud Zimbabwean wherever she goes.
