A new viral video shows a Cadillac Escalade driver on a rampage in New York City, repeatedly ramming a line of parked cars before casually driving away from the scene.

Unfortunately, there’s no context for how this particular situation started. The video begins on a street corner, where we see the video captured from the sidewalk by an onlooker. We see traffic in the road driving by a Cadillac Escalade. In front of the Escalade is a compact car that’s in the process of becoming more compact.

As the video gets under way, we see the Cadillac Escalade driver quickly reverse, revealing that the front end of the luxury SUV is completely destroyed. The front bumper is hanging off the nose of the vehicle and the grille is in tatters. Without warning, the driver punches the throttle, colliding with the rear end of the compact and momentarily rocking the SUV up onto three wheels. As the Escalade falls back onto all four wheels, we see a passenger in the front seat swaying back and forth as the SUV settles back onto its suspension.

The driver then reverses again before punching the throttle, once again colliding with the compact car. The camera pulls back to show the line of vehicles parked on the side of the road ahead of the compact have been pushed together, likely as a result of the repeated impact of the Cadillac Escalade at the back of the line of cars.

 

After a few more smashes, the driver in the Cadillac Escalade casually drives away from the scene, but not before colliding with another vehicle on the side of the road on their way out.

The chaotic nature of the incident, coupled with the destructive force of the Cadillac Escalade, makes for a dramatic scene. Viewers are left baffled by the driver’s apparent disregard for the significant damage caused, not only to their own vehicle, but also to the numerous parked cars along the street.
