It’s not often someone gets the chance for an audience with Bigfoot, which is why it’s a matter of speculation as to what the beast sounds like – but one unlucky man claims he found out…

A man in Missouri claimed he came face to face with Bigfoot – and what he heard the “beast” say was terrifying.

An anonymous caller phoned in to a local radio station in Missouri and retold the chilling story of when he “met” Bigfoot, according to KHMO Radio. The news station shared the audio clip of the man telling the hosts about the mythical ape and how he “tried talking to [Bigfoot]”.

Although little context is provided, it is suggested the incident took place outside his house in the countryside of north Missouri.

“I said ‘we don’t have to be scared of each other’ and that we could live in peace,” the man said. “I told him I didn’t want to hurt him and I didn’t want him to hurt me.”

But nothing could prepare the man for what happened next, after he was “hit with the infrasound” – a posh term for a deep, guttural sound.

“He hit with the infrasound and it hit me hard,” he added. “It made me physically shudder. I don’t know if there’s a telepathic component to it or not…but what I felt is you could feel it go through your body…you didn’t hear nothing…but it was like anger, fear, hatred and doom all rolled into one directly at you.”

The poor bloke said he was “hit twice” with this otherworldly grumbling, until he thought “enough of that – so I went inside”. The Missouri man clearly had quite a secure door, in order to so casually turn around and leave ‘Bigfoot’ outside kicking his heels.

High school graduates from Houma in Southern Louisiana recently got the fright of their lives and called the police after believing they say a “Bigfoot-like creature”.

The teenagers were camping in Kistachie National Forest when they saw something growling “with glowing eyes”. They reported the chilling encounter to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office around 9:20 pm on June 28, as reported by The New York Post.

The sheriff’s office said one member of the group, who were all 17 and 18 years old, called after they reportedly “heard a growl and saw what appeared to be an animal that had glowing eyes and stood about 5-foot tall”.

Despite the teenager’s claims, deputies were “unable to locate any suspicious activity”.

Bigfoot, also commonly known as Sasquatch, is said to be a large and hairy-like creature that inhabits forests in and around North America.
