After huge anticipation, FromSoftware released Shadow of the Erdtree last month, introducing players to the Land of Shadow and its secrets. However, the Elden Ring expansion surprised players not only with its content but by proving to be much more challenging than expected.

Elden Ring got a new layer of complexity with Shadow of the Erdtree by introducing a challenging progression system and bosses. Because of the high difficulty, players started leaving reviews criticizing the DLC, making Shadow of the Erdtree a quite polarized release. Even Let Me Solo Her struggled with Shadow of the Erdtree, showing how it has pushed the limits of even veteran players. One player swapped Elden Ring for Minecraft, but the change showcased that they weren’t having a lucky day.

Reddit user Working-Chard2141 decided to play Minecraft to relax after playing Elden Ring, but everything went wrong when they unexpectedly fell into the lava and died. The player shared the clip that shows them stopping to craft an iron bucket to get water. But what they didn’t expect was that as they fetched the water a sand block would come loose, causing them to die as they fell into the lava. To make the moment even more frustrating, upon death, the OP player loses seven diamonds, a diamond pickaxe and sword, their bed, and a golden apple, one of the rarest Minecraft items.

Minecraft Also Has its Scares and Challenges

Minecraft is known for being a game of exploration and construction, but Mojang’s sandbox community has its share of stories to tell.
