Malome Vector, whose real name was Bokang Moleli, died in a car accident along with two other artists while travelling to Lesotho for a music video shoot.

The fatal accident occurred near the Koppies turn-off in the Free State on Wednesday afternoon. According to sources close to the scene, the accident involved a collision between the car transporting the musicians and a heavier vehicle.

“Their managers have been informed and have attended to the scene and the hospital to get full details of what happened and who was involved so that the next of kin can be decently informed,” said Free State Health spokesperson Mondli Mvambi.

The accident left a female passenger with moderate to serious injuries and a male passenger with serious but salvageable injuries.

The bodies were taken to Kroonstad police station for confirmation.
