Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova of “90 Day Fiance” confirmed this week on social media that they have officially called it quits, with Steven claiming it was his decision to their marriage.
Viewers were introduced to Steven and Olga–- who met in 2017 when Olga was vacationing in the United States from her home country of Russia–- back in 2018 on Season 6 of “90 Day Fiance.” (The pair appeared on the same season as former couples Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa and Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima. Both of those couples would eventually split, too.)
Steven and Olga were just 20 years old when they made their reality TV debut. Viewers may remember the pair going on to split numerous times throughout their relationship, including after they tied the knot in 2019. Olga and Steven welcomed their first child, son Alex (who was conceived the summer that Steven and Olga met) in 2018. By July 2019, Olga had received her K-1 Visa and officially relocated to the U.S.. The couple welcomed daughter Leila in 2022.

In screenshots shared by @90dayfianceupdate on Instagram this week, both Olga and Steven confirmed that they have split once again, with Steven claiming in his announcement that he was the one who decided to end his and Olga’s marriage.
“ … I’ve decided to put an end to our relationship and put our children first,” he wrote. “She is a great mom but I couldn’t be [in] our relationship anymore.”
Steven added that, while there is “more context” to the split, he will share the details when he’s ready.
Steven gave a similar answer when asked in the comment section of one of his recent Instagram posts if he and his wife were now separated.
“Yes. I couldn’t be in the relationship anymore,” Steven replied.
In another reply, Steven said both he and Olga “deserve someone better” than each other, while insisting that their kids “are most important.” He also claimed that, while he doesn’t often post photos of his children, he continues to see them.
” … they are right next to me now,” he stated earlier this month. “[I] just don’t like posting them to the world.”
While Steven and Olga only confirmed their split this week, Monsters & Critics reports that fans had been speculating for months that the two had ended their relationship, largely due to their respective social media activity.
In recent months, the former TLC stars not only stopped posting photos together, but also unfollowed each other and wiped their respective Instagram feeds of photos featuring just the two of them.
Steven is reportedly focusing on his modeling career, while Olga continues to work as a photographer in New York City, where the pair had relocated to from Maryland in 2022.
