General Motors unveiled the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 back in September of 2023, with The General pulling the sheets on the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing this past January. As was the case previously, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is offered as the ultimate performance vehicle in the current Caddy lineup, with a supercharged heartbeat and the styling to match. Now, we’re taking a look at the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing in Drift Metallic paint thanks to the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.
The photos were provided to GM Authority by Evan S. Drift Metallic is tagged with color code GAE, and is a new color option for the refreshed 2025 model year.
The new hue looks good on the CT5-V Blackwing, giving the high-performance sedan a light grey-blue finish that contrasts well with the dark black aero components and trim bits. Up front, we see the revised front fascia introduced by the 2025 model year, with the new lighting elements incorporating stacked signature vertical lighting and LED headlamps. The black trim extends around the front intakes and into the sides of the vehicle. In the corners, we see a set of black multi-spoke wheels. Aero components include a prominent front splitter and a rear deck lid spoiler.
The interior of the sedan includes white and red upholstery offset by black trim, specifically the Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents interior colorway with full semi-aniline leather. Other notable features inside the cabin include a 33-inch-diagonal LED display. We should also mention that the GM Super Cruise system is included for those models equipped with the optional GM 10-speed automatic transmission. The GM six-speed manual is standard spec.
As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing cradles the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine as standard, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The GM Alpha 2 platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant.
